Easy to navigate, a great read on my phone.

I really like that I can read the digital version before the paper one arrives in the mail.

2/16/16 Update It would be nice to be able to highlight text and bookmark them. 12/11/15 Update Bookmark management still lacking. It would be nice if the TOC showed the article the reader was reading when it is pulled down. 6/6/15 Update Bookmark management needs improving. The app doesnt allow the user to delete older bookmarks that reference an issue that THE APP deleted earlier because it was old! 3/16/15 Update Swiping from page to page has slowed considerably since your last update. Im pretty sure its the Time magazine app because others apps that swipe such as photos swipe normally. 2/7/15 Update Thanks for implementing some of my suggestions. Heres another one. Please add the complete article titles to the TOCs. When the user is reading an issue and presses the table of contents button. The TOC lists abbreviated titles, so abbreviated that the user is unable to figure out which article is which. 9/12/14 Update The "Most Recently Read" link doesnt always work, If you bookmark an article and then delete the magazine issue, the bookmark remains and cant be deleted! Item #4 below still not available. This is perfect example of an implementation that fell in love with its technology platform and lost sight of its purpose, namely enhance the readers viewing experience. e.g., 1) All pictures require the reader to tap on a + sign to see the pictures captions. Personally Id prefer to see the caption with the picture and turn it off in the rare instance I wanted to see something behind it. 2) If the user downloads a later issue, the app loses track of where the reader was in the previous issue. Te app should maintain an article history showing where the user was. 3) The app overuses the "pull tab for more info" feature. This isnt easy for disabled people. 4) It would be nice to be able to highlight and search text, bookmark articles and see definitions when you select a word. However the biggest problem is: How do you download the latest issue? It turns out you go to the apps "library" and select the issue you want to download. There should be an option to automatically download a new issue whenever your iPad is connected to the web.

This app could be nice if it allowed me to see the issues. Im constantly losing access. Calls to Time have been of little help.

You have some of the best content on the web but both your app and webpage are so bad a child could make better... The page is so ad infested its unreadable and the app has yet to actually work with my subscription.... I will stick to seeing your stories in apple news app and on paper till you guys figure it out

This app used to at least let me download the latest issue after I signed in. Now, I have tried both restarting my phone, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it still says "cannot connect to the Internet". All other apps I typically use that require Internet work except this one. Frustrating.

I am a long-time subscriber and its been 2 weeks since I installed this iPhone app. It was still downloading last night, but now its stopped after a March 2015 issue. So there is a years worth of magazines yet to go and it has quit downloading. Of course TIME wants me to subscribe again. This is a terrible app that is very user-unfriendly.

Works fine for me so far. To bad can only download 1 issue at a time. With kindle fire can download multiple at the same time when catching up for a trip. Dont have Retina display - cannot comment there.

Most of time I need to listen to your audio is when Im on my way to work. HOWEVER audio will stop automatically as soon as I back to home screen or lock my iPhone! So PLEASE tell me when do people need to use this system? Keep app and screen on, sit on chair, drink coffee and listen? NO! We need to listen just because we CANNOT read during that time! BTW, The audio once stopped, it will back to front if you replay it! Cant it pause?? I cant believe this app is made by TIME company!

This app used to work well for me until about a month ago. Now it wont download new issues and crashes whenever I try to download. I have reinstalled the app several times, but to no avail. Luckily I still get the paper version.

I feel ok with the reading part of the Time magazine app, but the audio system is a mix of good and bad. Good, because it is very nice to hear when I am driving to work or home. This is the way digital magazine should work. Bad, because it stops and sleep, if I dont manually set the auto lock time to never. Bad, because it starts from the beginning when I start the audio system, and there seems to be no way to pause. Please add a pause/resume function or let us choose an option not to sleep and the Time magazine audio system is working. Please make this digital magazine just good.

I like the magazine but lets just hope you do not have any issues with the app, because support is useless and customer service is basically non existent.

I think its a good substitute for print and the navigation works for me. I dont use the audio. Id rather read.

I subscribed to the digital version and received a email confirmation of the subscription. When I went to the time.com website, there was no “login” link to be found. I finally found a way to login another way, but it is odd that there is no way to login from the office Time.com website.

Compared to their peers at Business Week and WSJ this app is very disappointing and frustrating. Difficult to get new editions and always having problems. Must be fixed for the digital age
