No question the digital version allows for more content than the print version by the reader interactively button-clicking for expanded or related stories. Graphics in motion add to the means by which author communicates with reader in ways that are faster and sometimes more effective than the written word. Audio adds to this and it seems counter-productive to eliminate it which you have done. But one shortcoming stands out. Adding a call-up dictionary which defines a word or phrase with a finger touch is missing.
Regardless, there is no question in my mind that digital will ultimately replace the print version.
